Gender Studies: Teaching, Learning and Studying
October 24-28, 2016

Organizer of the international school event: Higher Institute of Fine Art of Sousse (University of Sousse, partner of GeSt project).

Co-organizers of the international school event are partners of GeSt project: Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania), Central European University (Hungary), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University (Morocco), Sultan Moulay Slimane University (Morocco), the University of Manouba (Tunisia), Kirovohrad State Pedagogical University (Ukraine), Nizhyn Mukola Gogol State University, (Ukraine), Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (Ukraine).

The main objective of the international school event refers to sharing experience of teaching, learning and research curriculum focused on the area of interdisciplinary gender studies. The historical development, as well as the contemporary issues and concerns in the field were presented and discussed between different researchers, scholars, teachers, and students representing various education fields. The workshops on general structure of syllabus and curriculum of interdisciplinary gender studies allow researchers and scholars to get practically acquainted with the modernization of the institutional curriculum for successful implementation of the GeSt project.

More than 60 people took place in the international school event, namely, academicians, teachers, researchers, students from the project partners’ universities as well as from different Tunisian institutions. Presented main research results in the field initiated broad discussions, insights and experiences the international school participant were eager to share with each other.
